Kirsten Furl fell in love with gastroenterology during clinical rotations in graduate school and pursued a career in GI immediately after obtaining her Master of Science and board certification in nursing in 2016. Currently she treats more than a dozen diabetic gastroparesis patients a week, and has worked in the field for six years. She works alongside Dr Mosaab Hasan in the San Antonio area, and helps patients of all ages get to the root of their digestive issues with a multidisciplinary approach, embracing the latest developments in pharmacotherapy, nutrition, and behavioral modifications. Her practice focuses on diabetic gastroparesis and other motility disorders which have become progressively challenging to manage. Kirsten Furl is passionate about early diagnosis and utilizing appropriate treatment options in order to obtain the best outcomes and quality of life for her patients.
